cegecom s.a., has this year chosen to support people in vocational reintegration via the association Stëmm vun der Strooss. The staff delegation was the source of the €1,000 donation, which was handed over at the company’s premises at 3, rue Piret at Cloche d’Or.
Staff representatives Gregory Prym and Thomas Tilk (present virtually) and Sarah Koenig, marketing manager, welcomed the Stëmm vun der Strooss team.
The director of the association, Alexandra Oxacelay, wants to dedicate this money to a future project which is planned to be completed in 2023. The project is a new construction in the industrial zone Um Woeller, in Sanem. This will enable us to increase from 100 to 500 tons of foodstuffs, which are recovered, reworked and redistributed thanks to the partnership between the association and a Luxembourg hypermarket, and will enable us to hire 40 additional people.
Alexandra Oxacelay addressed the donors: “Your action proves that every little bit counts. Without them, we would never be able to increase our aid to people living in difficult conditions. »
