Website provision and logfile creation
Our website serves for providing information about our company. The legal basis of processing is defined in Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f of the General Data Protection Regulation.
When you access our website, information is collected automatically, but it is not assigned to a specific person:
We use this information to improve the user-friendliness of our website. We store IP addresses for a maximum period of seven days. They are stored for data security reasons to ensure the stability and operational security of our system and website. This process is necessary to protect our legitimate interests. Your legitimate interests are considered by anonymising your data by deleting the IP address. The legal basis of the processing is Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f of the General Data Protection Regulation.
Contact via e-mail or contact form
When you contact us by e-mail or via a contact form, the data you provide (your e-mail address and, if applicable, your name and address) will be stored in order to process and respond to your enquiry. We have a legitimate interest in accordance with Art. 6 Para. 1 lit. f of the General Data Protection Regulation in processing your personal data, as we need it to process your enquiry. In this respect, when using the contact form or contacting us by e-mail, your interest in protecting your personal data plays an important role in our interest in processing your request when weighing up the interests of both parties. Without the processing of personal data, it is not possible to process your enquiry. Moreover, the use of the contact form or contacting us via e-mail is voluntary. The data which are necessary in this context will be deleted after the storage is no longer necessary or the processing will be restricted in case of statutory retention obligations.
Data transfer in third countries
In e-mail communication, it cannot be guaranteed that the data will remain within the EU. Due to the manner the internet works, it may be technically possible for an email to be routed from us to you or vice versa via a server in an insecure third country. If you would like to send us information confidentially, you can do so by post or via separately encrypted communication options.
The responsible has services and performances carried out by carefully selected and commissioned service providers or their sub-service providers who possibly have their registered office outside the European Economic Area (“third country”) and provide their data processing from countries where there is no adequate level of data protection (so-called “unsafe third countries”), e.g. IT service providers. In this case, a third country transfer takes place. The responsible will implement safeguards in accordance with the legal requirements to establish an adequate level of data protection, including EU standard contracts, to a legally necessary extend to establish an adequate level of protection for your data. You have the option to request further information at any time. A copy of the standard contractual clauses defined by the European Commission is available on the Internet at https://eur-lex.europa.eu/. You can also receive it from us on request (see under “Contact details of the data protection officer”).
Career and training
Submitting applications is possible via e-mail (digital option) or by post (paper option). The legal basis for the processing is Art. 6 (1) lit. b of the General Data Protection Regulation. You are free to provide further information on a voluntary basis as part of the application process based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a of the General Data Protection Regulation. In e-mail communication, it cannot be guaranteed that the data will remain within the EU. Due to the way the internet works, it may be technically possible for an email to be routed from us to you or vice versa via a server in an insecure third country. If you would like to send us information confidentially, you can do so by post or via separately encrypted communication options.
