FMC (Fixed Mobile Convergence)

The customer can use FMC (Fixed Mobile Convergence) with the myPortal to go app for iOS and Android Smartphones. The service can be used over any internet connection. The mobile access and the smartphones are not part of the offer.

Twinning Mode

This mode allows the customer to use his Desk phone in the office in combination with a mobile device / smartphone and myPortal to go.

possible scenarios:

One Number Service

Incoming calls are signaled in parallel at both devices. The caller will get only the office number even if

the call is answered on the mobile device.

Outgoing calls are signaled to the called destination always with the office number. Call through and

Callback dialing is available for calls initiated by the mobile device.

Callback or Call through dialing mode

Seamless call hand over from the mobile device to the desk phone and vice versa.

UC features are available at the mobile device and / or at the user´s desktop

Optional VoIP (HFA) client within the myPortal to go App

The optional VoIP HFA client of the myPortal to go mobile App integrates the telephone features directly into the smartphone if the user is connected to the customers company WLAN. The Hardware and the setup of the WLAN Infrastructure is not part of the Managed Com Corporate or the managedLAN service. The WLAN must be VOIP-ready and configured with QoS mechanisms to prioritize the voice traffic.

Nomadic Mode

This mode allows the customer to integrate a smartphone into the Managed Com Corporate structure and to use it within public 3G, 4G and Wi-Fi networks. In this case cegecom cannot influence the service quality which depends on the quality of the mobile data connection. The use of VoIP connections over the mobile network has to be authorized by the mobile network operator. The customer should check if data connections are additionally charged by the mobile operator.

Prerequisites and system requirements

In order to use myPortal to go, the smartphone must be equipped with the appropriate hardware and software. The

following requirements apply:

Android operating system (version 4.0 or higher)

Apple iOS (version 6 or higher)

For myPortal to go as Web Edition:

Mobile web browser with HTML5 support

Windows Phone (version 8.0 or higher)

BlackBerry (version 10 or higher)

Display of Mobile Device

Touch screen (recommended for ease of use)

Display resolution for smartphones:

at least 240 pixels * 320 pixels or higher (recommended: 320 pixels * 480 pixels)

Display resolution for tablet PCs:

at least 800 pixels * 480 pixels or higher (recommended: 1024 pixels * 600 pixels)
